So, on top of the the Fibro and such, I had a tooth blow out; was/is one of the most painful things I've ever had!

This stupid tooth has bothered me since my bad accident. Been through 3 crowns. I've been asking for THREE weeks for help, and everyone said it was my imagination (spent all last week with doctors nearly every day). Sub temps around 97 degrees, what I refer to as a "Reverse Fever."

Wed. night, my pain levels were so high, I was literally cross-eyed, and begged to be knocked out - but I couldn't manage to pass out, it was awful.

Last year, I'd tried to get dental work done, and prevent anything like this, but THREE dentists wanted to charge me $7000 - $10,000 to fix my teeth! They all wanted to root canal ALL my molars, but they don't all need it, so I gave up - no one had ever told me my insurance through the state would cover it last year...so I went through it, in one day, basically...but it isn't any $10,000!!!

I need a temporary thing, to hold a space for a mid-molar, or whatever it's called, on a retainer.

I pray that my pain levels will finally go under control - maybe those 4 nerves have been contributing.

NOT having the nerves asleep, though they used 3 ampules, and tried to put them asleep...I had it done SCREAMING my head off, each and every nerve, because I had an infection. They asked me how I've dealt with the pain for so long - I have no idea.

But I will say this: the pain was equivolent to giving birth - four times, or passing FOUR kidney stones! I screamed for at least an hour, as they went down each canal...

The infection has gone way down; perhaps I should've waited, but I felt I was going to die if I didn't have it done, then & there.

I survived over 6 years of hell, maybe things will get better now.

I dont know if u got your teeth taken care of but my wife isa office manager for a real good dentist hear in palm desert ca, and they are really compassionate dr. So hit me back i know its a drive but hey if we can save u some money then it will be worth it..And they do let u make payments my wife is the one who sets it up .So any of my weedtracker brothas and sista who need dental help let me know!!!!!PEACE and LUV .................................

oh man i feel ya, forsure, this what happened to me, my mouth is very bad to thrush on a contant basis, plus so many meds it all just killed my teeth, so last year,i bit down on a chip and broke my back third back mollar well i went to my wonderfull dentist who we found after years of western dental, they would pull my tooth but use me for leverage to pull the dam thing out, so i find this dentist and he's like painless and he put;s earphones on you to let you listen to music to calm you down and my mouth never got tired and it was over before i even knew it, so i go to him and he closed his prctice to due a family emergence, so we see the one thats there, and after she looks at it and see that i have hempllia B hepitius C, and low platlet count, and two other blood disorders, sends me to a oral surgean, he trued me away, so i let it go. in oct i started to get an abcess up in my sinus, right above the bad tooth, it just took off real fast, and i am on pridnazone for my Addisons disease and it lowers my immune system, so i can't fight infections very well at all, my primary care DR looks at it and says get it pulled it's the only way to stop the Abcess, so dureing this time i opend the abess twice trying push it out, it was my whole sinus and all the way behind my right side of head and was i swollen and the pain wow, my pain DR just almost cried for me when he saw me, he could n't get me it for a bit, and i could see he felt bad, so i go to another dentist cause my PAIN DR is jumping up and down about how thats going to go to my brain if i don't act quick, which didn;t help me remain calm, the dentist look's the xray and didn;t even glove up and never even looked in my mouth, hesays you need a oral surgen i won;t touch that,, one more , after three dentist truned me away, and weeks are flying by and i just getting sicker throwing up all day everyday, my fever was all over the place and my blood pressuer went way up, due to thepain, soooooo we get a referal to an oral surgen, the only one that will take medi-cal and medicare, so he gets another xray{ don't ask me why they didn't use the one from the other dentist] anyway, he dons't even glove up either, he says you have to be in the hospital and we are going to pull all four teeth so you don't have to be antibotics four different times , like he;s doing me a favor or something , anyway, he wants lab work ofcaurse, to check the platlet count, to see if will clot at all, he told me i would need a transfustion before he even concider it, so i go do labs and talk to my Hematoligist, and he says no about the four teeth, so he fax the dentist all the labs so they would hurry up, so i get the appt and i have to go to whole other town to do this cause thats where the DR is, so he taks me back, like all the way down the hall to the last room, now i have been told by 4 denetist that i needed sadation, he didn;t even offer it, so here we go, i walk into the room and i am shocked by what i see,!! it's compleaty stark, white walls with one blk gerney, no dentist chair at all, just a gerney without even a sheet on it, so i sit on it, and i'm looking at my partner and i say don't let this guy hurt me ok, please protect me, so right off i felt wierd, so he come's in and lays me flat and put the light like 5 inches away from my eyes, so now i;m blind so all i can do is hear him walking around the room saying he;s going to numb it up, he then comes to my right of my head and say there will be a pinch, and so i well tolarating this , till he stuck it up into the tooth into the infected root and i accidently screamed, and with the needle still stuck in my face he leans in and say, do that again and i''l stop!! your scareing my patients in the wating room, wow the hell with the patient in front of you, so he then goe;s away comes back aske3d if it was numb i said no he then hit me in the tooth with an insurmenet, and start's to pull it out, so it breaks, i was expecting that to happen, so he gets it all out , and then goes back in my mouth with a sharp insurment,[ i couldn;t see but my partner could]. he poked it up ino the opening, and then sits me up and say, i put a hole in your sinus, so don't blow your nose for 3 weeks and don't sneeze, I AM SHOCKED, I NEVER CONSENTED TO THAT, I JUST CONSENTED TO AN EXTRACTION AND SADTION WICH I DIDN'T EVEN GET!!, so i go to my ear nose and throut DR and he wants a CT of my sinus, and sure enough he put a hole in there, and no it didn;t help it drain and my DR was like he it was on purpose and i said yeah it was so now i have to wait to see if it will heal by itself, or he will have to go inand patch it, Dam DR's think they can do anything they want to me what assholes, , that sob, made me stay on antibotic;s longer and i ahve beemn on them since OCT, and i just got finshed and then what i had was huge thrush infection in my mouth and a yeast infection like no other, i was pissed off firsure with this so called oral surgean, so that whats happened to me last 5 months,, see ya Endlesssky, ps NEVER SAY DIE!! dude, hang in there!!! i know it sucks ive had a root canal witha bad infection also, but luckily my dentist is my aunt and rt when i called her she prescribed me meds for the hardcore pain. keep up with the dentist checks!!!!!! so they can catch the infection or anything before it gets worse and starts to hurt

Gosh that sux, sorry you had to go through that. I had oral surgery last year and had to have a chain put in my mouth to pull a tooth down that just wouldnt come down on its own. Vaping some danky purps used to help me control and deal with the pain.

Pain doc was FURIOUS today with the pharmacy, and the dentist! He realized how badly I'm doing, so he changed me to a new tier of pain killers - I hope it works...I brought my art, and said, "THIS is what the pain is costing me! FIX IT!"

Just tired of hurting in waves.

Hope MRI helps, rather than it getting all chalked up to "Fibromyalgia".

I go back to the scary dentist tomorrow, for 1 - 4 fillings.

I just hope they all get done, and I can FORGET such a masochist, and go on with my life.

The heavier pain relief has been a huge success, and just a bit of MMJ helps where it fails. I need to get more in edible forms, the honey, or butter, and go from there.

BTW - I had a broken neck during this procedure, at C6 - as the MRI said.
Just FURIOUS that my cries of pain were ignored...then I find out, the dentist could've made me a friggin' quadra, or paraplegic!

Thank you all for supporting me - just hard to believe what appeared to be a minor slip & fall had some pretty evil consequences.

Oh, and if the pain doctor's staff had gotten me the MRI before 4/23, I'd never had been hit by that SUV on my bicycle!!
