14-times Olympic gold medal winner Michael Phelps caught with cannabis pipe

THIS is the astonishing picture which could destroy the career of the greatest competitor in Olympic history.

In our exclusive photo Michael Phelps, who won a record EIGHT gold medals for swimming at the Beijing games last summer, draws from a bong.

The glass pipes are generally used to smoke cannabis.

And after sporting chiefs announced laws which mean four-year bans for drug-taking, Phelps’ dreams of adding to his overall 14 gold medal tally at the 2012 games in London could already be OVER.

gar3618, I had the same thought...

Naturally it's a scandal *to some* so it must be news first and allowed corrections on the back pages if proved false

but I don't see many endorsements from the likes of General Mills.

I know mj doesn't hurt your lungs. My asthma is well controlled by it. Doesn't seem to hurt his swimming ability either. I say we buy airtime (it's cheap now-a-days) and state our support for him, or maybe he can do paid endorsements for NORML, ASA, MPP, WT etc.

Yeah this is such BS he shouldnt be punished just because he smokes alittle pot here and there. This plants has never hurt anyone, but alcohol is a different story. that stuff will make you do dumb shit, im sure he was blacked out and didnt know people were taking pictures of him taking down a bong load. o well ill burn one down the MP, he is one of the best olympic athletes we have seen in a while in the greats country on earth. the MF USAAAA
