Firm believer that this was the only reason McGwire and Bonds both broke the single season homerun record because they used massive amounts of performance enhancing drugs and for those that dont want to believe it, take a look at a picture of both mcgwire and bonds 5 years from when they broke those records, you do not get to their size without some sort of help. We share season tickets with 3 other families, so we see about 20-21 games per year. As a matter of fact, we are going tonight. Gonna be interesting to see the mood around the stadium. I just can't believe that this bastard could be so stupid! Wasn't everything that Barry Bonds was dragged through, and everything A-Rod's about to be dragged through, enough to wake these primadona's up? Hold out all off season for a 3+ year contract, only to finally 'settle' (and I use that word loosley) for 2 years at $45 million. The Dodgers have been a shining light of hope for a nearly bankrupt city, this year. Breaking the record for consecutive home game wins (from the start of a season) last night, was an incredibly uplifting event.... Only to have those same emotions come crashing down the following morning. If the Dodgers have lost their commanding lead, and are no longer in first place upon his return, I wonder if the fans will welcome him back with cheers and love.... or not??? |

He gave me a medication, not a steroid, which he thought was OK to give me. Unfortunately, the medication was banned under our drug policy. Under the policy, that mistake is now my responsibility. I've been advised not to say anything more for now. I do want to say one other thing; I've taken and passed about 15 drug tests over the past 5 seasons. I want to apologize to Mr. McCourt, Mrs. McCourt, Mr. Torre, my teammates, the Dodger organization, and to the Dodger fans. L.A. is a special place to me and I know everybody is disappointed. So am I. I'm sorry about this whole situation." According to the MLB Players Association, Manny has waived his right to challenge that suspension. |

I can care less about sports, but why not let there be extreme teams where no testing of any kind. Lets see what would develop from that.
