How about Oregon State??? They did a job on that vaunted defense. All you need to do is have a five foot six running back who schucks and jives.

Yeah. It's hard for me to continue to take this BCS crap. I'm not a USC fan, but they
deserved a shot at a playoff spot. The same for Texas and Utah. We can still have all of the
bowl games. Just rotate what round of the playoffs each bowl gets each year. For example,
let's say this year the Sugar Bowl is the National Championship game while the Rose Bowl
and Fiesta Bowl are the round before that, and so on. The next season, the Sugar Bowl
rotates back to a first round playoff game, and so on.

I've had no coffee yet. Does this make any sense?

USC just handed Penn St their asses on New Years Day, the same Penn St team that beat Oregon St 45-14. :nod2:

Congratulations to the Gators, Coach Meyer, and Tim Tebow who's legacy will be the face of NCAA/FBS Football much like Jerry West in the NBA. Yeah Tim Tebow is the "Jerry West of College Football"

That said the BCS is more often than not an exercise in complete Bullshit in that very seldom do you have a true National Championship that was awarded on the field (UT vs. USC being an exception - Vince Young ugh!!) but rather some arbitrary selection process as deemed by the BCS with several equally deserving teams being completely excluded from an opportunity to compete. No knock on LSU, but you guys should send the BCS "Thank You Cards" every year for the two that you have received.
Florida beat Alabama in a hard fought SEC Championship, while Utah from a "Bastard Conference" who should have been happy in BCS logic that they were allowed to play in one of their Bowl's, goes out and works Alabama from the opening snap, in front of a Alabama dominant crowd. And on yeah Utah is the only team to never loose a game this season, but they should be happy to accept being #2. The Big 12 jobbed Texas, in that they should have been able to play OU in their Championship rather than a hapless three loss (at the time) Missouri team that provided OU what amounted to an evening scrimmage. UT squeaked by "The Ohio State Buckeyes" in the Fiesta Bowl, a team that Penn State beat in Columbus and we Trojan's urinated on in Los Angeles, so I can make a case for ranking USC ahead of Texas in the Final polls, but UT has a case as well that they should have their fate settled on the field. And then there is USC, relegated to the Rose Bowl and knocking the snot out of another Big 10 Champion yet again while being excluded from an opportunity to play for a Championship because of a conference let down that should have never happened (Stanford - last year/ Oregon State - this year). USC gets up for Big Games like no other, so LSU/UF should feel very fortunate that they were able to get two "BCS Championships" each without having to play the Trojans. In summary, congratulations to the Gator's but don't celebrate to loudly outside of Gainesville.

To the BCS - GO FUCK YOURSELF until your agenda becomes as it should be, determining a National Championship by playing for it, and not an Arbitrary Selection Process underwritten by a multi-tiered Bowl/Revenue Maximization scheme.
