....I'm so over it! He need's to go look in the dictionary and see what it say's under retire...... because I could have sworn that it doesnt say retire and go play for the New York Jets then retire again and the play for the Vikings!

I used to think he was sexy as hell until he turned into a whiny little cry baby within the past couple of years. I just don't want to hear anything of him anymore

I think He is kinda sad & pathetic now. He was " the man " for a few years.
Those days are long gone. Some guys just dont know when to quit. He should have gone out with style. Now, he is just a sad has-been.

great move for farve!!!!! He gets to play again and make damn good money because of his name!!! VikingS had the top running game in the nfl last year!!! They were in top 3 in deffense!!! They can win their division at ease and get a home playoff game , maybe a 1st round by and two home games!!! Wow thats like 2 games away from the superbowl!!!!

He should have retired at his peak.. now he's gone the way of Rice, Montana, etc but will still be inducted into the Hall of Fame no matter what!

Yeah, but he doesn't get the extra love or in my case respect like they will. This back and forth stuff is rediculous. If he stood retired it would have been a different thing. And it would be a much bigger deal when he does go into the hall of fame . That's my opinion.

The thing that will be interesting is if Favre continues to show his age and declining skills, while their other QB's (did you see Tarvaris Jackson last night) outplay him. At that point if you are on that team, you have to want the guy in there that gives you the best chance to win.

Favre has turned many of us who used to root for him, into a state of whatever? If he fails so be it.

Either way Brad Childress is taking ownership of the Favre experiment, so if it goes bad he may get the Eric Mangini treatment. At the point where Brad picked up Brett in his Escalade and personally drove him to the Vikings Camp,
is when he and Brett became inextricably linked for better or worse.

I have always rooted for him.....wouldnt call myself a fan, but I definately like seeing him do well.

That being said, I have become a little tired of his retire, unretire, change my mind about retiring, then unretire, then retire......ect ect ect.

I dont think I care to follow his career (this year) I think I am over it.
But I do think Punkem733 hit the nail on the head with that comment.

Yeah it's their year alright. ESPN reports there is a schism between Favre and the rest of the locker room. Rumblings are that the other guys think they may have a better chance with Jackson.
