Riverside Epileptic Meeting 2-23-08

So I found this article online:

There will be a patients with Epilipsy Meeting at Cal Baptist University on Sat, from 9am-3pm. It is organized by Luana Garrison, whos son sufferered from status epilepticus until he was 10 and Dr's found the right meds for him. He has now been seizure free for three years. There will be guest speakers- a neurologist from San Antonio Community Hospital in Upland, and a neuropsychologist, from the Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation, in Pomona. Canine Assistants of Georgia will offer a demonstration of seizure-response dogs who are trained to assist their owners by retrieving a phone, summoning help and staying throughout an episode. The meeting is free, there will be brunch and lunch provided. If you wish to attend- please call Luana Garrison @ 951-340-9193 and RSVP. She wants a head count for food and chairs, last year there were 110 people, she expects at least double that this year.
