Rep Power: 2862 | You'd be surprised how easy it is to function and get your stuff done after consuming a large dose of Indica. A strong Indica, 1st thing in the morning, is a treatment you can get very used to. Medicinally Speaking |

Rep Power: 192289 | Re: Gerd I find a good strong Purple to do the trick for most digestive tract ailments. Unfortunately, most purples are sleep inducers. There are some purples however (The Purps, Godfather Purple, and some phenos of Purple Kush), that have a percentage of sativa in their cross breeding, and allow you to medicate, without the normal drowsiness associated with most purples. I am currently medicating with the Organic Purple Kush from Suite 215 for that exact reason! |

Rep Power: 130 | Re: Gerd I have GERD myself, and I tend to use a sativa in the morning then have some coffee, it helps me function and eat which is key. I will just say find any Sativa Dominate Strain and you should be able to fuction after you smoke it. Try to stay away from most OG's since most are heavy indica's which are better for before bed. I usually smoke indica's before I sleep and right after Dinner to help sooth my stomach and keep me from not throwing up. good luck! |

Rep Power: 315 | Re: Gerd The purples and berrys are the best for digestive disorders like GERD and IBS. I have acid reflux myself and the berrys knock out the inflammation and burning sensation. Also the nausea. I highly recommend a nice blueberry Indica. It won't make you drowsy in the afternoon like other Indicas. I just bought some Blue Bubba and Blackberry Kush and they are excellent. Purple Erkle and Purple Skunk Berry are also very nice. Indicas are body highs so they will relax the stomach/abdomen region. C.A.R.E. Collective and SCC have some nice berry strains and they can fill you in on what is stronger and what is less sleep inducing. |

I don't know about LB Collectives, but I have found it in the Valley, and LA. I would do a search here on Alaskan Thunderfuck, ATF or Matanuska Mist. Trust me when you do find some you will be a happy person. Let me know if you obtain any, and if it works for you. Best, pic4daze

Rep Power: 1937 | Gerd: smoking vs vaping Quote:
What I have found out from personal experience is, that smoking too much in general cause a lot of the GERD related complications. I use to smoke nothing but joints, pipes, and bongs. The water filtered methods were easier on my stomach, but they still caused the reflux and nausea and pain related to GERD. Once I got my vape, all the symptoms dissipated. Just like that, in a matter of a week. The nausea, and everything else just went away. I still use my vape, and now I can smoke whenever I want as well. So in my experience the answer is, yes, you can create more problems with GERD if you smoke frequently. Hope it helps
