Rep Power: 137 | Re: zebrasmoke's pasadena court reminder personally, i'd love for someone with your energy to be at my side for support. but, to be completely honest, i feel i'm small fish compared to mr. Lynch. my worst case scenario is nothing compared to what that poor compassionate man is facing, and i truly feel he needs more help than i do. His battle could change everything, whereas mine will help patients locally. tough call, but we DO need a voice in federal court to keep us updated, an i dont know if farmers gonna make it to either, cuz hes hurting. my opinion is that you show Mr. lynch we as a community are behind him. and since i cant be there, i'd love to know what defense does with their witnesses tomorrow. |

Rep Power: 137 | Re: zebrasmoke's pasadena court reminder sorry folks, lot goin on for me. my kids take priority, an i had them the last couple of days. so... went back, again, on tues. aned stood in front of the judge, again. i completely ignored the DA, since they only want my money anyway. again, the judge asked me for proof of my illness. again, i reaffirmed my HIPPA rights. as well as my constitutional rights. over and over and over again. apparently, at least in pasadena, the only thing that works is the "broken record" method. after arguing with the judge, yes i ARGUED with the judge, i got a couple of positive, if strange, responses. first i was told that i had satisfied the LAW AS ITS WRITTEN, but not to the judges own satisfaction, regarding my patient status. according to her, a recommendation is nothing more than a form letter given to all patients who see any "pot doctor". it does not mean i have a medical condition, it just means i can buy pot. hmmm. in her opinion, only a letter from my dr. stating the words" medical condition" would be accepted in any courtroom. also, i had to threaten the possibility of further legal action if she insisted on having me disclose my med records to DA BEFORE trial. do some research on your rights, and MMJ cases that are published, and you will be better equipped for court people. after repeatedly requesting an [I]in camera[I] proceeding, barring DA from hearing evidence before trial, she finally agreed that i DO have that right, and will honor it. The DA actually whined, yes he whined, to the judge about the dr.s assistant calling the city pros. office to complain about their treatment of patients. after 10 mins of arguing, politely, with the judge, she said what specific words i would need to have on my letter to dismiss the case in the intrest of "justice". and i quote: "this patient is being treated for a medical condition as authorized under the compassionate use act." so folks the lesson learned here is if your rec does not haveTREATED FOR A MEDICAL CONDITION somewhere on it, it wont be recognized in the city of pasadena. alas, i had MC2, who will now be adressing this issue in their new recommendations. i have to go back SEPT 8 with my dr.s letter or i go on trial. if you have any other questions about what she said, ask an ill do my best to answer them. |

Rep Power: 78353 | Re: zebrasmoke's pasadena court reminder So if I read this right, aftef all this time energy and lost of work, For this case to come down to semantics as wording on a piece of paper. You don't need to disclose your "condition" all you need is another letter from your "pot doctor" that says you have a "medical condition" thats it? Did I miss something? Zebra- Bravo to youl... you are fighting a good fight and I personaly appreciate your insight into this bullshit thank you and I am sorry you ever had to begin to deal with this crap -Dirt |
