had to go to Pasadena yesterday for appearance in court i had a ticket for possession of over a oz, I pleaded not guilty and once the DA saw my rec. the case was dissmissed and i recieved all my property back

That is great news. It's too bad in cases such as these, when the CHP guy saw you had your rec. It is the officer that should pay for the court costs, not the tax payers.

That's great news... I still get worried about police encounters even with my rec because you never know what a cop might do... congrats on the victory!

this could not be more true. Unfortunately there is no set rule as to how officers are to treat patients for almost every city so it comes down to how the cop feels that day as to if your rights will be respected or trampled upon by the officer.

Also curious..... do meds that were confiscated & then returned by LEOS taste that much sweeter ??? lol- Did they keif your meds b4 returning them ?

I just got pulled over in the bay and was sweating had coast guard on my boat with sheirffs department sir really a woman,she was foul and disgusting,bad attitude big old boilermaker on her front side.made me wanna puke the thought of her saving herself, let alone anyone else being so morbidly obese,in a job that requires public safety.
yea i refuse to incriminate myself ever.she asked me !have you ever been arrested before?me "I dunno I can't remember"my friend called her sir which was met by restrained laughter on the part of the coastguardsman who were just nice kids,funny we watched em wander around and pull anyone over for a vessel inspection who got to close to them..
i would keep pestering the department for a return of property,if it's not much just forget it as time is money ,and time dealing with police is a real hassle with no money.i guesss it depends on how important your time is to you.
