Re: San Diego Court Support - June

My understanding is that the preliminary trial was postponed until July 16, 2009. Does anyone know why this occurred? I wonder if this was a request from defendants or if the prosecution is planning new strategy and hopefully a new moderate policy.

Re: San Diego Court Support - June

The preliminary was moved to July 13th, 8:00am, Hall of Justice, 220 West Broadway, Section 11, 2nd floor.

The reason I heard is that the undercover SDPD officer in the case was not available for more than 30 minutes during the prelim.

The council for the defence did not feel this was adequate time for him to ask his questions. The next availability the SDPD gave for the officer was July 13th.

Could be a stalling tactic by the DA, not sure.
