I was recently arressted in burbank 1 of the worst set of cops I ever known and was charged with possession of controlled substance (which was methadone and is legally prescribed to me and the government funds) and they confiscated a
1/2 ounce of medicine from me. They didnt charge me for it or give me a ticket or anything for the weed. I wen to jail and bailed out. I have legal proof that I am MMJ patient and a patien of methadone maintence. They said my weed is being held in evidence and it will be destroyed. does anyone got any advice as to what I should do to find justice for false arrest and taking my MMJ . I want it back . I could have had a seizure. anywho. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx

I have heard more and more issues with the city of Burbank. I think you should have no issue with winning this case (if they do plan to file charges of posession). If they do not file charges of posession I think you need to file a request for return of your medication. Kha decision recently upheld the need for the city of Garden Grove to return his medication. You need to teach the city of burbank a lesson. The thumb their noses at MMJ laws and our right to medicate - teach them a lesson. You will win - no question. If they refuse - file suit.
