Went to court (Antelope Valley), the DA came over and collected the citation, and wrote; "DA REJECT". He told me to "go get myself something nice, you just won the lottery." End of story.

If they are dismissing these cases without even wanting to examine any paper work, up here in the wild wild west, there should be dismissable cases all over California. Keep fighting the good fight.

Update/Update: The police won't return items like Marijuana, at least not in Lancaster! (Join ASA)

Since I'm not really sure what the "right" thing to do is, I won't start guessing... that sucks tho, sorry to hear it.

Just out of curiousity, what flavor LEO was it?

I'm no legal expert, and I've never been in this situation, but from what I've read on other's experiences, all you have to do is bring your Doctor rec to court and show it to the DA. Many cases have been thrown out right after the DA gets and see's the rec.
