Rep Power: 18776 | Bryn Anderson and Paul Shaw To Endure Revocation Hearing After waiting for their case to move before their sentencing judge, Bryn Anderson and Paul Shaw were presented with the classic rock and a hard place scenario. Their dilemma was whether to gamble on a judge who had barely absorbed the facts and was refusing to indicate what his ruling would be, versus enduring another five weeks of incarceration and submitting to a full probation revocation hearing. The hearing would give them the opportunity to present favorable evidence, but it also carries the risk the judge would impose the maximum sentence, and another five weeks in county jail is an agony unto itself. If they lose at the revocation hearing, probation will be revoked and they could serve three years in state prison. But the judge could have sentenced them yesterday to the same term, and he's been hostile in the past. Allison, Bryn and Paul chose to err on the side of caution and on September 11, 2009, there will be full probation revocation hearing. In the meantime, Bryn and Paul will remain in custody. Please write to them if you can, the information is below. Letters are so important to inmates, it's how they stay connected to the world.
