Recently, the AVPC Bakery's co-op garden was raided by Kern County Sheriff, their plants and damn near anything else that might have even looked suspect were confinscated, even their Original Doctors Recomendation Forms that hung framed on the wall in full view before ever entering the garden. The AVPC is a Non-Profit Mutual Benefit Incorporation Authorized by the California Secretary of State. You know, NOT one of those courrupt ones.

(Sounds like the Grinch struck a little earlier this year!)

Anyway, the prelim court hearings have started (Monday the 5th, I believe) and I guess it got a continuation or something and there is another hearing coming up November 4 at 9:00am at the Kern County Courthouse Superior. This isn't a boysterous protest, but one that should be seen as orderly, organized group of compassionate people, patients and supporters that are standing behind a local baked goods provider ( http://www.weedtracker.com/forums/ed...ry-101351.html ).
