last night I went to an MPP party after that ASA meeting. Charles Lynch was the guest of honor and I was his guest and I was honored.

let me tell you those MPP people, they sure know how to throw a BBQ party. They had so much food there. Our collective munchiness could NOT even consume as much food as they had there.

the barbecue party was fun yet informative. many of the conversations that I had with others surrounded cannabis in one way or another. And it was really enjoyable to see Charlie Lynch outside of the federal courthouse. I saw some activists that I already knew there and met new ones. There was even fire dancing.

There was a brief moment when the festivities halted so that the MPP crew could thank and inform people. Virgil Grant said that he had started an online group called "Obama for medical marijuana" and he encouraged people to join it if they support both Obama and medical marijuana. And they also let Charles Lynch speak. One party attendee asked Charlie to tell his story because she was unaware of it. To hear Charles Lynch tell his own story is touching and nothing like the story the feds tell.

Something that really amazes me about Charlie is his gratitude. One of the first things he did was thank me for all my help. it felt great to be recognized for all I've done. Almost as great as helping a complete stranger through a tough time in his life and advancing the movement bit by bit.

And I never feel like I do justice to explaining things especially Charlie Lynch, that's why I want everyone to meet him; so they can judge for themselves. in general, I truly believe people show you who they are right away. For example, a person who is a complete ass can't pretend not to be a complete ass for very long, case in point Kowal. one thing Charlie said last night that really stood out to me that demonstrates the kind of law-abiding person he is,was a story about last year's MPP Playboy party. He said there was a girl who was smoking cannabis even though there was a rule not to smoke herb at the mansion. this girl was trying to get Charlie the smoke but he don't want to smoke because the rule was no smoking cannabis. Trust me if the rule is no smoking cannabis I will find a location somewhere so I can smoking cannabis. but not Charlie Lynch. If the authorities say one thing he would do that thing.

After the party Charlie and I got to hang out, I showed him around my campus and we talked for hours. I truly believe he's a good man and that's why I'm doing everything I can to help him.

Thanks. I appreciate your kind words. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect and didn't know if I could invite others. After attending the party I think I could have promoted it more. If I get an invite to the next one, I'll let everyone know.
