I just got this notice about the protest tomorrow:

Hello,
Got the following important emails about the Rally Tomorrow on Monday October 6, 2008 in LA at the Federal Court House.

· First one is notice from the public defender’s office that one lane of all four streets that surround the federal court house will be closed during the rally, a so called ‘march zone’. See message and map below. (I made the map)
· Second notice is information about the rally as posted by Marijuana Policy Project. See original email message below the map.

Feel free to suggest peaceful short chants/slogans that we can use during the rally…Keep them short and simple yet meaningful and powerful…
Thank you everybody for your support during this extremely challenging time. Hope to see you at the rally. For those that cannot attend Rick Ray Films and MSNBC will be there with camera crews filming the activities for future documentaries.

MESSAGE FROM PUBLIC DEFENDERS OFFICE
On Monday, October 6, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., the group "Americans
for Safe Access" and others will be demonstrating at the 312 North Spring Street
Courthouse for the freedom of Charles Lynch! (Ooooh, I hope thousands show
up!)

One traffic lane will be closed from each of these streets during the
following marching route:

Starting at Temple Street and Spring Street, traveling northbound on Spring
Street, eastbound on Aliso Street, southbound on Main Street, westbound on
Temple Street, and ending at the starting point.

Wonder where they "heard" about the protest???

Make your voice heard, in a civil way please. If you want respect, then act respectful. My two cents.

Just a reminder...

If there are any co-ops there "representing", or patients who care to give credit to a co-op that referred them to the protest, please come say "hi" to me tomorrow. We want to be able to thank everyone for their participation.

good luck to everyone tomorro. especially charles lynch. although i cant make it my thoughts, heart and soul are at that rally with all yall tomorro. lets be positive and respectful. we can beat em.

There was no way to get around having to work today due to a time schedule. I met & talked with Charles at the Hemp expo & really wanted to make it to the protest, so I am really disappointed today

I know this is important and I will try to show up late if I can hurry up & get my work done.
