| I'm at Charles C. Lynch's house and the feds are coming for a visit Yikes. I have stopped off at Charles C. Lynch's house on my way from the Bay Area where my family lives to Los Angeles where I go to school. I suffer chronic pain and traveling is difficult on me. So, I appreciated Charlie's offer to stay in his guest room. To rest my weary body and mind. I have a had good time getting to know Charlie and seeing him in different situations. I especially like knowing that his personality and character traits are consistent in all those situations. Last night a former patient of his stopped by regarding a letter of recommendation to Judge Wu. I'll post it's text in the letter thread later. She told me a bit about her situation and said Charlie's dispensary was the most professionally run dispensary she had ever been in. She also spoke about his compassion and willingness to help. One day, she came to the dispensary and was pretty upset about personal things and Charlie listened to her. She mentioned she was starving because hadn't eaten because she had been so busy and upset. Charlie offered her some of the food he bought for his employees for lunch. Every day Charlie provided his employees with lunch (no wonder the dispensaries never made a profit) I'm trying to relax as I sit and wait for the feds to come by. Charlie and I called into a local radio show last night. They were covering the story someone had written about the local sheriff's waste of money and man power throughout this ordeal. I'll post a link to the audio when it's ready and a link to the article as soon as I can get the correct link. I think I heard doors slam outside....I'm breathing heavily. I've also turned on a tape recorder and put it in my purse. I'm sure they are here. A knock at the door....I call for Charlie. He didn't hear it. There are at least 2 agents. A male and a female. Charlie lets them in. Their in the kitchen. I can't hear them but I think Charlie is explaining my presence in the home. I really can't hear them from the guest room. I'm just focusing on positive thoughts and feelings. I can hear Charlie laughing. He's a good-natured man. The male agent has a deep/low voice. I'll stay here in the room and not disturb them. Hopefully they will be gone soon. I'm hungry and I want to shower soon. My hands are shaking. I take deep breaths to calm myself. Everything's going to be ok. But my hands still shake. I can't hear what's being said...only voices. I'm sending Charlie loving energy. Thoughts are powerful. It sounds like they've gotten up from the seating area and possibly went into the back yard. They've come back in and Charlie's just asked them if they have something. I couldn't hear what. They are touring the place. The living room. His workout room. The laundry room and the garage. the bathroom. The female agent asked about a computer. And after Charlie answered, she said "that's right, that's what you do for a living." Then they stopped directly outside my room. Charlie introduced me. I stayed seated in my chair at my laptop. Each said their name. I raised my hand to acknowledge them and said Hi. THey quickly moved on. The man asked about Charlie's air purifiers. NOw they are asking about his music equipment. How much it is valued at. Charlie is telling them about his one-man music show. He's explaining it to them. He's telling them about when the DEA arrested him. He's recalling different events for them. He's talking about taking piano as a kid and how difficult it was. They are asking him about a storage unit. He has to reveal every aspect of his life to them. They are just casually talking in the living/music room. Charlie is asking them what their role is. I think they are probation officers to determine sentencing. Sorta like what I witnessed at Mickey Martin's thing last week. The female is explaining it's more convenient for them to come out and look at his place than it is for someone from LA. They are gone. Thank god. They asked Charlie a bunch of questions...someone else will do the probation report. Charlie expressed his distaste for having to do these things. He told me about how his house was searched for pretrial services. The agents had guns and searched every aspect of the home including closets, safe, etc. Now back to our regularly schedule lives and WT posts. Last edited by Herbalicious; 09-11-2008 at 09:43 AM.. |

That was like being right there, in the room, waiting for them to come to the doorway and then suddenly! They're there. Poor man. To have the feds so far up your ass you can taste em in the back of your throat. Really sickens me that my tax dollars go to employee these goons! We must rally on Oct 6 and show a force of activists who are tired of being watched and punished! Be safe, Herb. Give Charlie my best, Darlin'! |

| Re: I'm at Charles C. Lynch's house and the feds are coming for a visit Yeah, I know it bothers Charlie that he has to go through all this. It feels like an invasion. I told him, "One day no one will have to go through this sort of thing for marijuana charges". He was telling me more about the pretrial visitors. They would make him due drug tests at his home and watch him pee in a cup. He said it was humiliating. I really feel for the guy. I dont like anyone looking at me when I pee. Boomer, As far as I know, probation officers create reports for the sentencing. And prison time is still an option. They determine if Charlie can afford a fine by looking at every aspect of his finances. They also make sentencing recommendations. On another note: While we were making breakfast, Charlie was telling me that when he takes his cans to be recycled, if there is a needy person at the recycling center, he will give them his recyclables so that they can earn the money. Now, tell me that isn't a good deed by a good man. He was also giving that former patient a back massage last night as we sat and talked because her back was hurting so bad. Talk about compassion. |

Lynch's house and the feds are coming for a visit To think,With the Laws passed,In this day and age "2008" The people have spoken, Cried out in pain and suffering. Please we ask,Beg for it,Cry for, need it. "Relief" from our pains and sufferings for our mental and physical well being!! How long must they suffer? How long will we fight each other? When will this form of oppression "STOP".. What gives another man the right to force his will upon you? What makes this one thing Cannabis Hemp worse than any other Legal drug or recreational spirits, Or Medicine. (Tobacco, Alcohol, Prescription drugs).. Charlie, I hope that what ever God or maker or universal cosmos is out there blesses you, That all your needs are met and in your time of trials and tribulations you find some comfort and strength in knowing that you are in the prayers of others, That there are those who genuinely care and push and send possitive thoughts and feelings your way, and towards all those who have fought and fight the good fight. Not just for themselves but for all of us!! Thank you for the great post..This is what gives me the strength to never give up!! |
