I want to remind everyone to stay positive when promoting this Charles Lynch protest

Negativity just breeds more negativity and we will catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I do NOT want to see clubs or patients bashed. There are far more than 3 clubs that will be close and even more that will send reps. I will have a larger list to post later today or tomorrow. We are not going to entice coops to close by having a bad attitude or being negative.

Let's focus on what we want; A large turn out. We need to talk with dispensary owners and understand their concerns and explain to them, that the concerns they have for not wanting to close are the reasons they should close. We should approach the situation with kindness and compassion not negativity and cruelty.

We need to come up with positive talking points (or rebuttals) to common reasons coops don't want to close. Like they don't want patients to be without their medicine. Well there are still over 2 weeks left to post and advise closures on 10/6. Patients can get their meds before or after the protest. It's a monday morning. We can ask coops to look back at their records and honestly count how many patients they have had on monday mornings before 3pm.

If they are afraid the DEA will raid them, that's the point of the protest. To create enough media buzz that we get picked up on national news and to send the message that we want the DEA raids to end. dispensers operating under local and state law should not have to fear the DEA. This intimidation and interference is against our constitutional and state rights.

The reason the federal laws still exist is because we as a movement have not made it absolutely clear to Congress (who makes the laws) that we need this law to change. Sure we bitch about it on forums like this or to other patients but we're not getting our message to Congress. Will the protest get the message to Congress? NO, it will not but it will get the message to cannabis user who then can call, email, write and EVEN visit their Congressional members.

Let's pull our collective brain power together to make a positive change. Negativity never motivated anyone. There are a lot of people working very hard on this. Let focus on thanking them and encouraging them more. The other people will either join in or not. Let's not get bogged down with pointing fingers and getting angry.

I made a big mistake the other day and for that I am taking a little break from WT out of respect for those I hurt. If you need me PM me or CALL me. I want what's best for this community and movement.

Power to the peaceful and the positive. Keep your heads up.
