Owner take this time to publicly thank all those patients and caregivers who is given of the personal time and energy to make a difference in the Charles C. Lynch situation. Thank you to happy Jack: happy Jack took one of his days off to come to the trial. He's brainstormed ideas and helped implement those ideas. He designed the logo for the mock DEA letter. He put together the letter after I wrote some of it. He's offered to help him mail the letters. He's offered to help organize a caravan from Orange County to the protest. He's come up with sign ideas. he designed a flyer for the protest. I'm Sure there's a few things I am forgetting but I'm not forgetting to thank him. Thank you to Kennabis: he took a day off to go to the trial. He designed a flyer for the protest. And he's been very supportive. Thank you to Farmer: he showed up to the trial in several days. He's worked hard to organize the Eastside. He wrote good reports about the trial. He's been supportive all around. It's thank you to baby boomer: she donated $50 to Charles Lynch because she knew she wouldn't be able to physically help as much as she wanted to thank you to just one voice: he's vanishingly supportive and allowed me to take time away from Western to go to trial. He's allowed me to take time out Western to do Charles C. Lynch related activities. He will be closing Western on the day of the protest. He's had me go to the three co-opts closest Western and asked them to close on the day of the protest. He's donated supplies. Put the word out to the greater Los Angeles caregivers alliance. Then all-around supportive. thank you to Davyl: for offering to be a regional captain in the Reseda Northridge area. | Re: a gratitude thread for all that have helped on the Charles C. Lynch situation Thanks. I was getting a little bummed out thinking people did NOT care about this stuff, so I made a list of people I knew cared and it's a long list. So, I feel better now. And I'm grateful to everyone who has done something (big or small) to help. Last edited by Herbalicious; 09-13-2008 at 08:03 AM.. |

As far as Arts and ASA, I'm not sure what's going on there. I know ASA has been working hard and Charlie called them before opening his dispensary. I've been working with Don organizing and coordinating things. MPP and NORML have also helped with this protest too. But Don Duncan has done the most so far. Don was told by the LAPD we do not need a special permit to protest on the sidewalk and they will not close the street in that area for anything. We have to still look into an amplification permit, so we can all hear the speakers. I really like Zebra's poster, it looks so cool. | |

Lynch situation Those two tards zebra and farmer knew where I was going to go I thought they were my leutenants giving orders It's not my fault theres a link broken in the chain of command's comunication. Jk And I have good news I have negotiated the distribution of the flyers at the arts as long as I shear the bottom of the flyer off. This is great because they are walking distance to the court and so are alot of the patients who frequent the arts!!! I totaly understand the arts reasoning for not wanting to promote any orginization They were up-front with me and totaly are on board the lynch train choo chooo!!!!!! stoping by today with a poster and revised flyers!!!!!!! I also got soto st, blue gate, and dtpg on my list as-soon-as I get some time ONE LOVE-Seuscio |

| Re: a gratitude thread for all that have helped on the Charles C. Lynch situation Let's NOT forget to coops that have contributed. I'll list just a few right now because I am in pain and my mind is mush right now. I encourage others to add to the list. ~ An Unnamed coop is donating money for a vinyl banner. Everyone will be given the opportunity to sign this banner with perm marker and we will be giving this banner to Charlie after the protest. They will also be CLOSED 10/6 and will bring people to protest ~ Humboldt Relief will be closed too and bring people. WAY TO GO VALLEY ~ Western will be closed. And I know of at least 1 nonWT coop that will be closed too. Others have mentioned other coops and I encourage them to put the info here. Last edited by Herbalicious; 09-16-2008 at 12:22 PM.. |
