The background

Charles Lynch committed no crime except running a medical marijuana dispensary.
He followed all state and local laws, and was welcomed by his community.
His co-op was raided and shut-down.
He was arrested and now faces federal imprisonment.

EVERY co-op owner still operating is taking the same risk he took.

Illness is not a choice – medicine should not be a crime, BUT IT IS UNDER FEDERAL LAW.

Once again we are going to stand together and fight for Charles Lynch’s freedom, and all of our freedoms. Any of us could be next!!! Please join us at the rally in downtown LA at 12 noon on Monday, Feburary 23.

The offer

For co-ops that participate in the rally by attending or sending employees down to join us, bringing water (or rain parkas) to share with protestors, or anything else you might be able to think of, WeedTRACKER will run a “thank you” banner following the protest. It will run for a few days, and it will list the names of all the co-ops that helped. This way people in the community can specifically thank the co-ops that step up and join in the fight!

Patients, please show them some love!

I have been hit incredibly hard by this flu bug. Today is the first time I've been online since Tuesday...yes, KushMeister who seems to live on Weed Tracker, was so ill, he didn't even get online for nearly 3 days!

Anyhow, if I am better by then, I will be there, however, I don't wish to either relapse, nor give this sickness to any of my fellow protestors, so gonna have to play this one by ear.

Please everyone. This is so important, not only to the MMJ movement, but more importantly, to the life of a man and his family.
Please show up and let your voice be heard!

Several co-ops have already contacted me (thanks! ) and some have asked what they can do to help out. Obviously showing up is the #1 priority, and my first post in this thread offered some other ideas too, but one of the best ways anyone can help is to spread the word.

Co-Ops: please tell your patients about Monday's rally! Explain to them what is at stake and how anyone can help by just showing up. It's so important that we get as many supporters as we can to come downtown and join us.

All of us agree that cannabis should be legal as medicine or we wouldn't be going to the Co-Ops or visiting this website. So let's stand up for what we believe in.

Remember everyone, your voice can't be heard if you don't speak up - please try to come join us Monday February 23 to defend Charles Lynch and all of our freedoms, and to fight for our right to our medicine.

I will look forward to seing my old friends and to meeting you if we haven't met! :sbounce:

It's the marijuana they are after. Who is they? They are the prohibitors of hemp and the oppressors of us, i.e., any individual, business, corporation, or government that promotes an oil based economy which is toxic and destructive to us but profitable for them. The act of prohibiting hemp and marijuana is tantamount to slavery.

What's happening to Charley is a perversion of justice. The Data Quality Act says that no federal government agency shall rely upon information that is false. The statement about marijuana under the Controlled Substance Act, Schedule 1, that marijuana has no use as a medicine within the United States is false. Therefore, no federal government agency can rely upon the CSA Schedule 1 statement to prosecute any individual for medical use of marijuana. The prospect of Charles Lynch being put in jail is specifically reliant upon that one false statement. ummm...has anybody brought this to the prosecutor's attention in the Charley Lynch case???

Via the Data Quality act, issues that encompass all federal law pertaining to marijuana are moot and all such federal "marijuana" cases directly involving medical marijuana in any state where it is lawful to consume marijuana as a medicine should be immediately dismissed. If not, appeals should filed based on the Data Quality Act issue that when marijuana is used as a medicine; "in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man. By any measure of rational analysis marijuana can be safely used within a supervised routine of medical care." FRANCIS L. Thanks everyone for the fantastic show of support, both by co-ops and patients. Charles is fortunate to have so many people willing to stand behind him. WeedTRACKER... what a wonderful family to be a part of, and this is one of the reasons why.
I'll be out there too - say "hi" to me if you get a chance - and those of you who will be there only in spirit thank you for offering your support and energy to the rally from wherever you are.

Well I went to the Rally this morning. I put up photo in my Profile Album section on WT and on my Myspace page. Go check them out they came out pretty good.

For my first rally I had a good time. Thank you "D" from MMI and the Gang for making me feel really comfortable..... Especially the Doggie.....
