Charles Lynch committed no crime except running a medical marijuana dispensary.

His co-op was raided and shut-down… EVERY co-op still open is taking the same risk he took.

He was arrested and faces federal imprisonment… EVERY co-op owner still operating is taking the same risk he took.

Illness is not a choice – medicine should not be a crime, BUT IT IS UNDER FEDERAL LAW.

We ALL need to stand together and fight for Charles Lynch’s freedom, and all of our freedoms.

Isn’t this incentive enough to get you down to the protest October 6th? NO?!?!

Well, how about this…

The question of “how can co-ops encourage people to come to the protest” has been bashed to death… a coupon to redeem for a small amount of medicine, or maybe a small piece of glassware. Just show up at the protest and collect a coupon... a little something for coming down on a hot day to fight for your own rights… sweet!

But what about incentives for the co-ops?

WeedTRACKER has an offer for you!

For co-ops that participate (either by closing for part of the protest day and/or sending employees down to the protest while on the clock, or offering giveaway incentives or water to protestors, or anything else they can think of), WeedTRACKER will run a “thank you” banner following the protest. It will run for a few days, and it’ll list the names of all the dispensaries that pitched in. This way people in the community can applaud (with their hands or wallets) that co-ops step up and join in the fight TO HELP US ALL! Patients, please show them some love!

And any coop who contributes to these efforts (and notifies me before hand) will get recognized at the protest in front of all the protesters.

And any coop that offers patient incentives will have their name & address printed on the certificates.

So there is a lot of opportunity for coops to participate and get recognized.

I'm big on the idea of dispensaries who don't want to close, giving staff who want to go to the protest the day off with pay, it allows everyone to participate who cares to, without being dinged financially. And with gas the way it is, people may need some help.

As far as giving people coupons for bud or other things... they did this in the north for awhile and instead of people committed to the cause they got drive-by grammers looking for free bud. They tended to get into fist fights over the coupons during the event.

Caesar Chavez didn't "pay" people to show up and neither did Martin Luther King, but if dispensaries want to "sponsor" an employee I think this is a more responsible way to garner attendees, because it promotes financial stability within the community and ensures that the people attending are there because it's important to them, not because they get free bud at the end of it.

I have to agree with this. This has turned into a numbers game and that bugs me. I want ppl there that have that passion and not looking for some free weed.

I was there before I opened 420 Grand Caregivers with Don Duncan, Chris Fusco and Phoenix Rising at numerous movement events. I will be there again for this event. From begining to end regardless of heat, rain, or shine our voices will be heard. Posters? Who's hosting a poster party, I'll show up with an ounce to keep us medicated while we make them up for anyone who needs to medicate during that time. Just let me know who's hosting it. Count me in and 420 GC will also support Charles Lynch in any way possible. I'll talk it over with the Management and figure out we can do to support this day of support and demonstration. 'WITHOUT STRUGGLE THERE IS NO PROGRESS" - we struggle together, and reap the benefits of our progress in this movement together. I'll also have a tow ice chest, anyone who see's me hit me up for water or gatorade at the event. I'll provide them free of charge while supplies last. - H
