Just need to chime in here....Charlies request for new trial is the 17th...

His Sentencing will be the on the 24 .......Please come to support charlie on the 24th as he has requested. NOT on the 17th as he indicated to me a few days ago.

God bless you Charlie...We all love you for you are going thru. His brother just passed away from diabetes last 2 weekends ago...prayers are with you and your mom and sister.

Can we still write letters of support to his judge? Can you re-post all the information on writing letters and what the last day we can submit them is?

Correction on new court date for charlie below

here is copy of email from charlie with the latest on Court dates

Dear Friend of CCL,

On Monday November 17, 2008 at 8am in Los Angeles Federal court Charles C. Lynch will request a retrial before Judge Wu. Supporters are encouraged to attend. Also there is still time to send a letter to Judge Wu asking for leniency in sentencing. Sentencing has been continued until January 12, 2009. For more information visit www.friendsofccl.com. Good luck on Monday with the re-trial motion.

Maybe sentencing can be delayed past Jan 12 to sometime after the new admin takes over....
