Looking Good – but waiting on confirmation!

Well I've been on my feet and sitting for 2 days in a row.

(A little note: Sitting is worst for me because:
a.) My (left) leg is lower so has to work to pump up fluids back up to my hart
b.) this is done my mussel movement
c.) I'm ‘folded over’ in the middle compressing already compressed veins and lymph system which makes blood and lymph flow even harder.)

All that in consideration I was at work ‘sitting’ (staff sick) and walking around there for 2 days apx. 6+ hours a day. Also one of those days attended PlanCo (County level) and state for another 4 hours that night.

In the past, just sitting the duration of a city or county meeting caused great (huge) swelling of my left leg, even when I tried to ‘keep it elevated’

The swelling after the first day (apx total 11 hours up right and sitting) was minimal and the ‘sock line’ was almost the same on both legs, ie the left one wasn't drastically deep cut in like as if I had a rubber band around my leg.

Usually we'd rate the swelling as 30% to 50% times the size of the right leg (which is normal.) It would take 3 or 4 days to return to normal or close. (drop down to 5% or so and have a light ‘blush’ of reddish pink vs. ‘normal’ right leg.

One night off it, and it returned to almost normal (5%+ and slight blush) before I went back for 2nd day of work. That night again the two legs were different, but only about 15% (at most) and no HUGE mark from socks (slight).

The following morning it was back AGAIN to that 5% difference. As I say, only a week or so ago this took 3 to 4 days to bring it to this stage of recovery (down to 5% and barely a pink blush.) Now its only taking 12 hours of laying down with leg elevated and resting. (No folds – flat and leg elevated!!!)

Now this is NOT concrete data, like imaging, but it suggests that some of the ‘blockage’ (tumor) is greatly reduced or perhaps its all gone and this is just the residual impact of the operations and the tumor its self. Also I have a blood clot in that same area (ain't cancer great – and you get blood clots too!!!) As the ‘blush’ is pink this maybe what is causing the SLIGHT swelling – ie blood clot not the cancer. And yes it is being monitored and I'm on medication for it.

It takes 2 weeks (min) for Chemo to ‘work fully’ I had my “LAST” (#6 of 6) session a week ago last Thursday. We are now only waiting for the imaging center to call for scans of the area to find out if they melted the damn parasite (Tumor) or there is a little left. So I'll know or have a better picture in 2 weeks or so after the imaging is ordered and given, and then it takes the Onincolgiest and his ‘fellow wizards’ a few days to review the images and make an appointment to see me and give me the news.

If the parasite (Tumor / Lymphoma Large B Cell) is still there they will EITHER suggest a dose of radiation or some more Chemo.

I'm betting on door 3, that’s where the little F*r is gone 100% and we just go into monitoring modality watching vigilantly for any sign of return! Then I get to go start working out and cutting weight with a vengeance! I've been told to keep weight on threw Chemo – and with this ‘wonder drug’ (cannabis) its been no problem at all! Though honestly I'm pretty “horny” to start regular work outs …

I offered to go one on one with my Onincoligest, after a crack about my health or lack there of. He told me I'm not in his weight class, so I asked him how soon I could start cuttig weight? He said AFTER I was well. So I got to get in shape and cut wight down to Doc's weight class ... then? Chess Boxing? - http://www.chessboxing.com/ ) In reality I've been doiug very short times on my bike (10 - 12 minutes) and a 'bit' of weight lifting! I'm still very weak lacking in stamina.
