Rep Power: 13 | Books about MMJ So, outside of the Cannabible series, and the Big Book of Buds series, what other reading resources are available for those curious about their meds? I know this is MMJ related and not necessarily off topic, but I really didn't know what other area to put this question in. Last edited by karatestereo; 10-03-2007 at 07:49 PM.. |

Rep Power: 40 | Re: Books about MMJ Any recomendations for a new patient for books on growing? Need strains to target chronic pain from RA and Fibro, was diagnosed a few years ago by a rheumatologist but don't smoke so good and would like to try edible or extract. I've been told I'll need a lot of medication to make this for myself. Thanks! |

Rep Power: 16 | Re: Books about MMJ I also suffer from R.A. and FMS, plus TMJ. Recent studies show that a mild NSAID and MMJ works better for inflamation together than either do alone. So you still may want to take 600MG of IBU once or twice almost daily, with yogurt to line the stomach. Stains: Active and Functional Sativas for day/work time -- Jack, Sativa Hazes, Trainwreck, Sour Diesel, Thai strains if I can find them. Indicas for night and bedtime, or for painful flair-ups. Pretty obvious. I find most strains I general like work for RA/FMS -- would like to hear other's successful strains -- and since I still need to work and stay active through the day and evening, I make my choices based upon such requirements and the strain's psychoactive properties. I generally use 4-5 different strains a day, at different times, and I rotate these every few days to keep tolerance at bay. Also, FMS requires a number of suppliments and vitas. to suppress/prevent flair-up -- Q10, Folic Acid, 5-HTP Magnesium Malate, B12, B-Complex, etc. St. John's Wort if you are depressed even after using MMJ. Hope this helps. |
