Rep Power: 12688 | Re: New Menu!! Yikes be careful of what you ask for LOL I got some "outdoor" from them yesterday that looks like it came right from Mexico. It does not look like what the "display model" looked like...In a 8th there is 1.8gs of seed! Not good.....so if you get budget strains (or anything from a preweigh) ask them to let you look at it before they bag it and staple it! |

Rep Power: 0 | My Experience with BPCA The place has had a LOT of bad reviews and I was very hesitant to go there since you fellow patients that post on wt are wonderfully honest and extremely helpful on which places to pass on, saving me a ton of cash. It's my turn to return the much appreciated favor since I've spent a bunch at this place, tried almost every strain available and still remain pretty, pretty UNhappy with the quality and now am seriously looking at the Palm Springs collectives. For the record, I have no personally bad feelings toward the employees at this dispensary, they work as hard as anyone else in this 'business' and the guys behind the counter make an effort to be helpful. Over the last 6 years I've sampled a lot of Collectives, I know my weed. I recently moved to inland so they are the closest to me now ... I've purchased from them over 10+ times now due to convenience only. Here's their problem: From a 'patient's prospective' their pot sucks. For recreational/party-type tokers this would be adequate but NOT for genuine patients with pain issues ... the pot is NOT effective. I agree with some posters that some of it may have been Kief'd but I notice more often that the pot is either harvested way to early or has resin breakdown from bad growing habits and I'm taking about the top-tier strains here. The kids running the counter are helpful and friendly but don't know shit about the strains they are selling. And I say selling because the prices are absurb, this is a business and don't expect compassion reflected in the prices. Other collectives are not all like this. It troubled me being around there when I observed the people delivering the Pot were indistguishable from Gang-Members, tats and all. I don't like hanging out where gang-idiots frequent nor would any of the patients I know. These kids are still The only grass I would ever buy from them is the OG Kush ... the joints are powerless they sell and at $15 each is insulting. Buy them for $7 in LA packed with killer weed, not low-end shake [even though they boast over a gram of pot in them] You also find grams of hash for $10 on Pico in LA - NOT $40 a gram, shysters! The only other I'd recommend is Master Yoda a buzz. Other than that, everything else was a total disappointment. I buy my ounces from a collective in Sun Valley where the pot is unreal and oz prices rarely above 350 ... spend the time on wt because it will save you big. I waited a long time to post about this place because I wanted to give and honest and fair review, not just based on one bad visit or purchase but I hope someday a genuine patient and not a fast-buck salesman opens a collective down the street. For the money they charge I demand breakthrough pain relief and until they stop pretending they are a real collective and actually give the patients an effective product that is comparable to what you find in LA well then consider yourselves punked by whomever the punk is that owns this faux-collective. I think their stupid daily specials and a few dollars off here and there like they are really helping you out is a total farce, and so would they if they actually got out and experienced some of the collectives set up by patients! |
