Rep Power: 36 | As a patient that has been to mother earth many times and purchased those 70 dollar and above eigths hereby thank you from the bottom of my heart and my pocket for lowering that cap 65 dollar cap that's what I'm talking about. If this is what happens when competition moves in I hope a lot more co ops come around, maybe we can get even better daily deals for us come back patiens. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: $65 cap sounds good! I agree with ExclusiveOG...65 for an 1/8th is pretty pricey! Whenever I visit LA dispensaries, most 1/8ths cap at 55 or 60, only some strains cap at 65 or above. I bought an 1/8th of Pure Kush yesterday for 60 bucks, and compared to the Pure Kush I got in LA it was half as good and more expensive. :/ |

Rep Power: 36 | Re: $65 cap sounds good! 65 is fine with me, of course when you can get it lower get it. Out here we don't have much to choose, if you did the math you put 20 for round trip gas trip, 55 + 20 = 75. That's what we spend when we have to travel to LA or like me to LB. So when I said 65 cap for some bomb meds is good it is to me because when all I have is the gas in my tank and the 65 in my pocket, I can purchase top shelf meds and not have to worry about waisting more money on gas. Ill pay the 65 and not have to sit in traffic and only travel 10 min from my home. |

Getting to stay in the IE for my meds is priceless. Could prices/variety/quality be better? Yes. But for now, it makes sense for me to stay local. Lowering caps is always a positive

Rep Power: 26 | Re: $65 cap sounds good! WOW! i can find just as good of quality weed on the streets for way cheaper than $65. i thought the whole point was to be compassionate and provide a safe place and keep people off the streets and everyone happy. there is absolutely no need to charge that much..i guarantee they get there flowers for just as cheap as any other clinic..then tax on $40 for gas it took them to drive if they even had to drive (most places get deliveries) if you will and you dont even dent the price. i will never visit this clinic ever ever with a cap at $65. Maaaybe if they lowered to $50-$55 for tops helf og. this is the kind of clinics that the government goes after..the ones that make tons and tons of money..they stay open for a few months and come up super fat the disappear overnight..they are just in it to legally sell weed. the point is to help out patients without getting your pockets swole. many of us cant afford expensive medications because we already have to pay so much for medications that we cant live without. i mean come on guys dealers on the streets rarely charge that much so why would a clinic that has a license to sell weed, a financial backing to buy tons and tons of flowers (larger quantity = super cheap), and one of the only spots within 100 miles, charge that much other than to come up super fat? think business strategy over guys, more patients = more weed sold = just as much profit = happy owner and happy patients. lower your prices and i guarantee you will have people lined out the door so instead of selling a little bit of weed for super expensive and have a bunch of pissed off patients, you can sell 5 times more medications and keep everyone happy and still make money. pokey i can pm you a few clinics if youd like that have absolute best weed around for 45$ an 8th cap and 40$ on some strains. best OG ive ever had...the church og, skywalker og, heaven, wicked OG, beverly hills og, private reserve og, the list goes on and on and thats just the OGs..pm me if you would like the numbers/addresses to these places. and if you buy more than just one 8th you make up for your money in gas. you save 40$ if you buy two 8ths so that will get you a nice drive to the valley and lunch.. not to mention a free gram of your choice and some places even give you a free joint, lighter, blunt wrap, etc.. everytime you visit. now that is compassion! rethink things over BPCA. its all about strategy! peACe Last edited by bms; 10-12-2009 at 12:00 AM.. |

But 215 and 420 are about SAFE access, not CHEAP access. If their prices seem too high for you, move on,

I'm pretty sure it was called, 'The Compassionate Use Act of 1996' not 'The rape and profit off of patients act of 96 yo'. In the meantime, I'll still continue to roll out to OC for $50 or less 1/8ths.
