Shouldn't LA have to return their ill gotten gains? How much money has LA taken in from MMJ distribution? |

Rep Power: 3186 | Re: Trutanich & Cooley get it wrong; Dispensaries are legal and should be regulated, Some kid got shot and killed near my work last week in broad daylight. Gang related. I can't beileve these guys have nothing better to do but go after a fantastic source of sales tax money at a time when the city is broke, and crime is rising. Much of that crime involves the black market drug trade - which is 100% created by prohibition. You've got young people blowing each other away on the street, you've got Wall Street ripping everybody off in the nation, and these people want to go after stores that sell flowers from a plant that generate millions of dollars every year in tax money for the city, and help people deal with diseases like cancer and AIDS, among others. It is physically impossible to OD from medical MJ. How dumb are these people? What world do they live in that they have nothing better to do? Just amazing. Oh wait, I forgot! The liquor lobby and pharmaceutical companies are probably livid that MJ is being sold, taxed, and is helping people. I'm sure this will help them sleep at night a little better for a little while. I don't believe these foolish attorneys will be successful, at least not for long. Last edited by Smokus Cannabis; 10-16-2009 at 08:03 AM.. |
