Rep Power: 13 | Re: Help my Grandma out. :) I think there is a lotion out there not sure which co-ops might carry them but it's called Cannabalm. Or, not sure if this works for others but I've tried putting buds into rubbing alcohol, then use the alcohol for places where the joints hurt. |

I have osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. http://www.weedtracker.com/forums/sh...=moms_brownies I know Kind Meds in Encino has it and I think a couple of more places are now carrying it. Thank you for being so concerned for your Grams. |

Rep Power: 538 | Re: Help my Grandma out. :) Fascinating as it is, the latest info on balms and stuff you stick on your gums, is to use: Glycerin (the stuff found in the pharmacy area). Put whatever you want in it, let it sit for a month, then use it as a tincture. Has anyone tried the glycerin balm?/tinctures? Glycerin is a fatty acid, derived from both plants and animals - I used to make home made soap, so I know it's very safe to use. |

I did not get the pain relief that I was hoping for. But I know of someone who loves it and uses it before work instead of a cup of Starbucks now. The Glycerin tincture have never worked for me and I think I have tried many plus even making my own. We are all so different in what absorbs and what effects we experience. However, the cannabalm is what I have found that works for me. Clink, clank, my two cents. .

Rep Power: 25508 | Re: Help my Grandma out. :) Thanks for the info BB. My Mom, who has been on Naproxen for over 15 years (irresponsible of the MD's IMHO). Was recently cut-off by her drug-dealer I mean Doctor (I know there are some goods ones out there). It seems the Naproxen has effected her kidneys. She at less than 50% function. So, I too have found myself looking into the CannaBalm. One question, what is the carrying agent in the CannaBalm? Also anyone try Canna/Coconut Oil Balms? |

Rep Power: 25508 | Re: Help my Grandma out. :) Kushy much love to ya, Thats what I was looking for. I've got both of these, Food Grade Cocoa Butter and Extra Virgin Coconut Oil at my health/pet store. (we dont sell pets) Heading down to the R&D department of the DieselWorks. Looks like I got some research and development to do. Deez always prefers making that which can be bought. (No offense to any vendors its that I live very far from decent co-op's, and like many, money is an issue.) |

Cannabalm is available @ the following co-ops; KindMeds in Encino, Ashmoon in Woodland Hills, 420GC in LA, And a place in Palm Springs........ I believe the donation is $10 for 1/2 oz in an easy to use container. I hope this was helpful.. BTW; I have personally tasted it, and while it is not yummy at all, it is , in theory, edible. It really works on the aches & pains. I have been using it instead of the Banalg cream that I was given @ the doctor's after my accident. In 7 days I am almost without pain in my knee & the surrounding area. AND the pills aren't needed!!! :slaugh:mom

Used to get there 2 hours early, then have to leave in the middle of the 4th quarter. We listened to many a good finish on radio. True L.A. fans!!! |

We have had no reports that it got anyone "high"... It just provides major relief. BTW, a friend of mine who uses the balm took a drug-test just to see.... It came back negative. She doesn't smoke, nor does she use edibles, only the balm. Hope this was helpful... :slaugh:mom
