Smile Help my Grandma out. :)
My grandma has really bad arthritis but doesn't want to smoke or eat cannabis to get its effects. I was wondering if anyone knew what she could get for it and also where to get it.

Thats so nice you want to help your grandma.

I have tried a few creams and ointments that help with arthritis without ingesting.
I wish I could recall the name of the co.

I think there is a lotion out there not sure which co-ops might carry them but it's called Cannabalm.

Or, not sure if this works for others but I've tried putting buds into rubbing alcohol, then use the alcohol for places where the joints hurt.

Thx for helping me guys.

Ya I tried that alcohol thing for her once but I didnt know how much to put in with the rubbing alcohol. Im pretty sure it wasnt enough. But yes, ive heard of Cannabalm, I just dont know what places have it.

CannaBalm is what works the very best for me. I have osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Fascinating as it is, the latest info on balms and stuff you stick on your gums, is to use:
Glycerin (the stuff found in the pharmacy area). Put whatever you want in it, let it sit for a month, then use it as a tincture.

Has anyone tried the glycerin balm?/tinctures?

Glycerin is a fatty acid, derived from both plants and animals - I used to make home made soap, so I know it's very safe to use.

This certainly isn't a 'scientific' study that I performed. But I did try the Glycerin to make some lotion. I made it with a sativa trim. The absorption was a very racy experience for me. The kind where you take the benydryl right away because it is way tooooooo much.

I did not get the pain relief that I was hoping for.

But I know of someone who loves it and uses it before work instead of a cup of Starbucks now.

The Glycerin tincture have never worked for me and I think I have tried many plus even making my own.

We are all so different in what absorbs and what effects we experience.

However, the cannabalm is what I have found that works for me.

Thanks for the info BB.

My Mom, who has been on Naproxen for over 15 years (irresponsible of the MD's IMHO). Was recently cut-off by her drug-dealer I mean Doctor (I know there are some goods ones out there).

It seems the Naproxen has effected her kidneys. She at less than 50% function. So, I too have found myself looking into the CannaBalm.

One question, what is the carrying agent in the CannaBalm?

Also anyone try Canna/Coconut Oil Balms?

oils like coconut have low rancidity, and anti fungal properties, it is a superfood. as oil is the "transporter" of epidermal rubs, only the purest form of healing oils will touch my skin. if i cant eat or drink it, it is not going on my largest organ (skin), no thank you sir..... cause that is what my skin is gonna do, eat it..!!!

I'm interested in the coconut oil for the same reasons. Also coconut oil has no cholesterol. So, it seems like a much healthier alternative especially if your into edibles.

NHHC in North Hollywood has Dojas Pain Relief Cream, its 2 oz and it contains chamomile and lavendar. dOJA'S CREAM is made with Amber oil.

Thats what I was looking for. I've got both of these, Food Grade Cocoa Butter and Extra Virgin Coconut Oil at my health/pet store. (we dont sell pets)

My advice is to enjoy every single day you have a living Grandparent. I miss mine alot. My Grandpa took me to all Ram home games from 1967 to 1975. Used to get there 2 hours early, then have to leave in the middle of the 4th quarter. We listened to many a good finish on radio. True L.A. fans!!!

We have had no reports that it got anyone "high"... It just provides major relief.

BTW, a friend of mine who uses the balm took a drug-test just to see.... It came back negative. She doesn't smoke, nor does she use edibles, only the balm.
