you guys got any info about the whole SD county moratorium?

just read in the paper the entire county now has a 45 day moratorium....

SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego County Board of Supervisors Wednesday unanimously approved a 45-day moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries in unincorporated areas so staff can develop land-use regulations.

The ban on the dispensaries takes effect immediately as an "urgency ordinance" and can be renewed for a total of 22 months.

Supporters of medical marijuana have long accused the county of San Diego of foot-dragging in implementing the Compassionate Use Act, passed by California voters 13

way....sucks.

Be glad it is unincorporated only. NOT the entire county. Incorporated cities and SD proper can still have dispensary's....just not areas like Bonita....

not the worst thing, but it does set it up for the individual cities to do the same thing, like Esconidio and Chula Vista have already done... and no what we need to be happening in this county for sure......
