DEA Raids in San Diego!
*This is an emergency alert from Americans for Safe Access*
December 12th, 2005

Today, Monday December 12th, federal agents raided at least seven medical cannabis dispensaries in San Diego with the help of the local police and sheriff.
If you live in the San Diego area:

We are asking all local medical cannabis supporters to rally in opposition to these raids at noon tomorrow, Tuesday, December 13th in front of the San Diego Federal Building, 880 Front Street, San Diego.

ASA activists are also holding an emergency meeting tonight at 9:00p.m. at Twiggs Coffee House, 4590 Park Blvd., San Diego.
If you live outside of the San Diego area:

We are asking all medical cannabis supporters to rally in opposition to these raids at noon on Wednesday, December 14th in front of your local federal building. Please contact Rebecca immediately at rebecca@safeaccessnow.org if you plan to organize one of these rallies so we can post the information on our website.

Whats the world coming to........I thought San Diego was more compassionate towards the medical movement.......this changes everything......what county is next on the list. Sorry to all the patients without meds now, your in our hearts. Good luck to those co-ops that got raided. This seems like the start of many new raids across cali.

san diego is also suing california to overturn sb420

san diego is suing to overtun 215 as well if im not mistaken

they problly contacted dea as an extension of there lawsuit......

alot of these compassion clubs in my opinion dont really take into consideration how much the feds and local authorites really are watching and documenting i always get that eerry im getting watched feeling coming out of certain dispens.

maybe im just paranoid lol

Its sounds rediculous and purelypolitical, I mean how can they possibly win, the majority of the state passed the frigging bill, just makes me mad that a select few can ruin it for everyone else(who are they to voice our opinions for us) anywho hopefully the fed will finially come to its sense's, seems like no one can ever over throw the man.

I think it might be related I got an email from ASA saying that the raids were more than likly linked with the decision to sue the state, I dont know which clubs were raided this is truely a sad day for all mmj users out there.

Fuck the DEA; say they bought without papers.......... If someone gets in a bar and they are not 21, do they close and raid all the bars? I'm sure 13 dispensaries would cover most (if not all) of the places in the county.

Seems like the government sure does like wasting our tax paying dollars...."Lets get these "criminals" the big and bad marijuana dispensaries!" Just think of the man hours, plane tickets, training and gasoline that it took to plan simultaneous raids on 13 places. What fucking retards! THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT ROCKS! Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on?

UGH this is horrible! the DEA better stay downtown and not mess with north county, what am i supposed to do... drive to fucking LA?? SD coop was one of the good ones, and i just got my new membership card.

im so angry right now. im starting my new job tomorrow so im unable to go to the rally and support SD's patients (including myself). sucks that i cant even support myself in this thing.

It seems we complain about clubs for being particular with paperwork, and giving us a going over like at airports or customs, but maybe that's the answer to stop the raids. Weed out at the door these damn fed imposters who then press charges. If we want to protect our coops, we should cheerfully cooperate!

damn shame, but SD isnt down with the idea of sb420 prop 215 from what i'm hearing. plus ive heard that theres a few despens that dont do things the right way. so i would believe that combo is the reason for the raids. what we need to do is stand up and fight for our rights !! i hope to see all of you out in protest on wed (be l@@kin for ya in LA).

LEI is closed i believe, they asked to be removed from wt yesterday.
