ASA has heard reports from LA area collectives that the DEA is sending out a new round of letters to landlords of dispensaries, informing the landlords about the activity taking place and explaining that their assets can be seized.

If you know of any letters that have been received, please PM me about them. We can guide dispensaries through this process and it is very important for ASA to track this information for our work with Congress. Thanks!

So the U.S. Congress is holding hearings on these letters which the DEA has already been told to stop. Unless I am mistaken, the same representative has already told them to leave CA alone.

The DEA sees it as responsible to increase the activity they have been told to stop and will be appearing before a congressional committee to explain. What kind of idiot follows this strategy?

That would require actual work, but we are talking about the Drug Enforcement Agency, this is an agency of lazy and corrupt cops that care nothing about protecting American freedom and American ideals. The DEA has a full plate of jobs they could be doing to protect innocent children from meth labs, innocent people from violent drug dealers, and violent drug smugglers working the border. But yet instead of doing real hard work, they would rather take the easy road and raid a peaceful medical marijuana dispensary.

As terrifying as these letters may be, we must understand these are the actions of a weak agency that knows damn well their jobs are at stake with the facing presidential elections, and are doing their best to appear as if they are doing some sort of work. Unfortunately for the DEA, these letters will ultimately backfire and cause a political firestorm right under their ass. So if I could say anything to the co-ops facing these terrifying threats, I just have to say stand firm, remember that you are doing good, and don't let a ruthless and evil agency against freedom discourage you from helping the hundreds or thousands of patients that need your help in getting their medicine with safe access!

ASA doesn't endorse candidates. There have been lots of great threads here about the presidential election and hopefully there will be threads about congressional races in the future.

I called the Detroit office, and boy, are his staff laid back. The person I spoke with was very cool. I'm thinking he may have even been in a patient way if you get my drift.
