Rep Power: 12 | Keyes vs. Burbank Airport Police The City of Burbank, California has not shown much good faith in its handling of the medical marijuana situation in 2007. First, on January 13th, Burbank’s Pickwick Center and Gardens ironically denied safe access to hundreds of activists at their banquet halls. It was the 2nd statewide conference of the medical marijuana rights group Americans for Safe Access (ASA). Pickwick’s management expressed displeasure at the volume of pot smokers that gathered around the garden facility’s outdoor ashtrays, demanded they stop medicating, then locked the hapless advocates out of the Center, for the entire last day of the conference. A very serious event, it had been properly reserved, and paid for by ASA. story continues: http://www.medicalmarijuanaofamerica...nt/view/148/1/ |

Everyone has known for years that the pickwick is a tight ass place, so is Burbank in general..... Pickwick is a family place, always kids everywhere, a million better choices than that place... How many co ops are in Burbank? i know a few people that had run ins with the burbank police and all they did was ticket one friend (in the airport with a joint, didnt miss his flight) and make another leave the Burbank Hilton...No big hassels.... i thought they would have been tougher....... | |
