This place in Pomona that just got shut down was originally in Covina. Apparently they had been closed down and decided to move down the street to open up again. I figured they would get shut down after visiting their original location and being handed a piece of paper with another address on it. shame to shady co-ops

Why is the shame reserved for the co-op rather than the city that:

A) would rather continue to allow an unregulated market to exist instead of one that could control these business' in a manner that would prevent crime and underage use
B) continues to hinder patients SAFE access
C) creates an environment that even LEGALLY organized collectives must follow 'speak easy' type rules of existence (like in the days of alcohol prohibition) or risk arrest for an activity that the courts have deems to be legal and can eventually be a waste of the courts time and money
D) insists on outdated propaganda to model public policy on this issue rather than facts and RECENT studies and facts



As shady as you feel co-op's are that open in the IE (where ALL, except 2 in Palm Springs, are illegal in the IE) the city officials are the ones that create that shade... IMO more of these 'shady' co-op should open up and demand to be regulated and recognized as a legitimate business.

Yea the city officials in the IE are mad scandalous.
If more shops opened it would do that area so much good.

It will happen eventually. Its just a matter of time and persistence
