I just wanted to confirm whether the the ASA-LA meeting will be happening this Saturday Aug 16 at 1pm at the Patient ID Center. I think Don told me the topic is role playing legislator meetings. If so, I'm going to invite Charles Lynch.

Ok, I just heard back from Don Duncan and this is what he said:

Yes. The meeting is on for the is Saturday. You can get a map or public transit info at http://www.ASAaction.org

We will be doing some one-on-one meeting role plays, planning for the October 6 event, and talking about some exciting developments in California.

It would be great if Charles Lynch came, but if he doesn't feel up to it, (sometimes people are so devestated they just want to be with their families) try and find out what we can do to help him, and make an announcement at the meeting.

There's always a section where people can talk about things coming up. If he still needs letters to his judge, be sure and bring all the information about that, so people can take it home and write a letter.

I'm happy to talk to anyone who needs guidance about what to put in a sentencing letter.

Yeah, Charles may or may not be there. I know he would like to attend, it just depends on his travel plans. He will be in LA for an MPP party that same night. I think it would be good for his morale to meet supportive patients and I think it will be good for patients to meet the man behind the conviction. I'll bring the judge letter info with me.
