Rep Power: 1994 | Re: Students attending CSUF/CAL POLY/MTSAC/FJC/others Good show my friend! I was HEAVILY involved in Fresno State student politics in 1998-99 and I, along with a few less outspoken supporters, campaigned mightily for the passage of prop 215. Oddly, one girl's father was a Federal Judge which is why they chose to be on the hush. It helped that I had just beaten terminal cancer with the assistance of the original Cannabis Buyer's Club. I still have the card form Dennis Peron's second club that was on Market Street. It was a cool gig, about providing pesticide and fungus free cannabis to patients like me whose immunties had been compromised. Anyhow, I think the student population is where any area changes will start. You've got access to a very receptive audience of legal voting age. Politicos as well as sheriffs will pay attention out of fear of pissing off a strong constituancy. Good fortune be to you. | |
