Cases: M42217; M43562; AS15K4091
I have had 3 cases dismissed. I am a medical marijuana patient and my medicine was stolen from me on three occasions. I have asked the public defender who represented me at least a dozen times about getting my property back. I have come to believe she has no intention of following through on this. I want my property back: 1) almost an ounce of marijuana, 2) almost a quarter ounce of marijuana, 3) almost a gram of hash, 4) at least two pipes, 5) A COFFEE CUP, 6) lighters..
Case: M43562
14 Mar 08 - I was humiliated on the street for half an hour or longer, and they took my medicine (just under 1/4 ounce of marijuana bud) and my pipe and lighter.
Case: M42217
Nov 07 - I was assaulted and battered and the police arrested and charged me, the victim. And they stole nearly an ounce of my medicine, and my pipe. And they broke the webcam for my laptop.
Case: AS15K40951
9 Jul 08 - I was arrested and jailed and had to pay $110 on a bail bond to get out of jail. The police stole my COFFEE CUP, MY LIGHTER, my pipe, and nearly a gram of my medicine.
The presiding judge in all these cases was Commissioner Stephen S. Siegel.
I should never have been arrested in the first place. My medicine should never have been stolen from me in the first place. I have been robbed by the police. I want my property back.
Sincerely,
J. Craig Canada
