I am asking for patients words of Encouragement for my caregiver.

He was pulled over on Friday night with a quantity of medicine that he was taking to his patients. Because of the amount he was arrested and charged with Possession with intent to sell.

The problem lies in the fact that he had walked out and forgot his caregiver paperwork which was his bad but still a technicality. He is freaking out right now cause he is afraid they are going to throw the book at him and give him 3 years in prison over it.

I have tried to encourage him to keep his head up and not stress but anyone that has been in trouble with the law knows it isnt as easy as it sounds.

The other reason he is worried is that he is in Riverside County and with how hardcore they are against MMJ he worries that they will not accept his Medical status. I have told him that there have been many patients that have been in trouble in Riverside county and it turned out fine.

If you guys could just throw some good words his way I am going to print this thread out for him to help ease his mind, I think it would also help if any patients from the IE have had to go through the court system out there if you could share your stories to show him as well.

At the end of the day the courts will decide this issue. I highly doubt an honest mistake like forgetting current paperwork will be a deciding factor. Sounds like your caretaker needs a good lawyer with MMJ expertise. Hopefully the D.A. office will see this is not a winnable case for them to waste money on.

yea I got him set up with my attorney as he is very well versed in MMJ and only handles MMJ cases. Poor guy is just stressing out big time and just want to do anything I can to help him through this.

make sure he at least can get enough of his patients that he was providing medicine to back him up....please keep us posted medpatient...things will turn out okay......and a good MMJ lawyer couldnt hurt

Remember, he has only been arrested. (His first arrest?) They still have to file charges and convict, which I doubt will occur.

Shoot, if I had a nickel for each time I was arrested in Riverside County I'd be RICH.

Interesting point however, I've never been convicted of anything!! Not even jaywalking.

So yes, you can beat this. I always rely on an attorney, expensive but well worth it. Preferably, one that knows the DA personally. Someone, who can pick-up the phone and tell the DA what kind, caring, non-violent person your friend is.

Personally, I always prefer an defense attorney who also golfs with the DA. Seem to make things run smoother.

Hello friend, I am sorry to hear of your plight.
I will be lifting up your case to the Lord.
I know he would not want you imprisoned for helping the sick and needy.
I know it is hard to have faith when we are accused of wrongdoing.

I am backslidden as well...
I am not living the life that the Lord would want me to be doing...
but since this prayer isn't for myself I have faith it will be heard.

I have faith that this new administration will loosen the strongholds of the DEA against the sick and dying.

I will also pray that the judge open his eyes, ears and heart to see the truth and not judge you in a hash way. I ask this all in Jesus name. Amen!

Best of luck to your friend man. That is a really messed up situation to have to be in. I hope that he sees some justice work in his favor.

What the fuck does our government, expect us to do? I guess they think medical cannabis just magically appears. I use to volunteer at RCC, in Lake Forest. Thank you for having the balls, to do whats right. I know how scechty things can get sometimes. I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts.

My cousin got a DUI and his Doctor took care of everything,he wrote a letter explaining the effects of cannabis could not effect his driving after how long ago he had smoked it. If he has a good Dr,he will help him out in court,mine would

good luck is your friend okay,did he stop right away being a caregiver i hope not he should continue business as he was before to show the d.a he did nothing wrong,if he stops they will think he's afraid of them he needs to keep caring for his patients to show the d.a he really helps the mmj community out.

Things will turn out OK. You have the law and many friends on your side. Riverside PD and Sheriff aren't the law. They are enforcers who interpret it for themselves. They like to harrass people like you who make innocent mistakes to send a message of fear to our community. Please don't be afraid....that only furthers their cause. You will be cleared.

was he pulled over because of a traffic infraction? or it was a tip? Was wondering, coz im a delivery service too. Need to give tips to our drivers. was he from socal caregivers?

do not focus on the negetive aspect, it will draw attraction. cultivate the positive energys of this ordeal, empower yourself with knowledge (and a good legal team), and only see yourself free..!!! you are pure source energy, and we choose to give ourselves away, but not today and this day forth. you (we) are a free individual vibrating at your own frequency, tune in and stay there..!!!

yea he is still caregiving, he is a little nervous about traveling around but he isnt letting them intimidate him.

I got him set up with my lawyer when I had my possession charge and he is really good, feels good about the case so my caregiver is feeling up and up but he still has his days of doubt.
