Half a dozen patients/activists showed up to the City Council meeting in Culver City today and most of us spoke during general comments.

The Mayor said that Organica is considered in LA (or the most part) and that the police department will be making a report and that those at the meeting that were concerned would get a copy of the report.

We basically asked Culver City to not assist the DEA. I spoke about how the DEA and the Federal government are disrespecting our privacy rights. I spoke about John Conyers letter regarding the DEA activity and what I learned from the Charles Lynch trial (The feds do NOT mind sharing our medical records in public court). We all stressed the importance of safe access for all who need it.

I think everyone who spoke tonight about mmj did NOt live in Culver City and will all be attending the ASA-LA meeting this Saturday at 1pm at the Patient ID Center.

if u pay attention at 1:50 they tlk about organica and how its "within" CC
which makes no sence cause only the entrance is in culver but the actual location where medication is despensed is in LA

I'm not sure how concerned they are but they heard from patients who are concerned.
