Rep Power: 5269 | City Bans I heard from a patient today that code enforcement shut down a dispensary in Anaheim, I don't know what the situation was or if it was just because the city has a ban on co ops but I think that the next step should be more activism on a local level so that all cities allow co ops. Although I love that people visit us from all over I don't think patients should need to leave their city for meds. They don't make other people go to a CVS or Rite Aid thats 45 minutes away. Why should MMJ patients be discriminated against????? |

Rep Power: 31144 | Re: City Bans it was most likely due to the ban the city has on MMJ shops. I always found that funny Anaheim of all places with the gang and meth problems they have singled out and target MMJ shops to ban. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: City Bans I know in my city and the cities adjacent to me (Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley/Costa Mesa/Newport Beach) they don't allow dispensaries. There are tons of patients here too. I'm new to these forums so if this has been posted before I apologize, but how would I go about trying to get it legal here. Do I take action with lawyers, or is the extent of my power as a resident stalled at simply protests. |
