Re: Ever Quit Zoloft?

Hey there, I was on Zoloft for most of my teen and early adult life. I totally understand you you feel mentally. The numbness is horriable. I cant belive i have berly any recolection of my younger years. I guess i Zoned out all the good/bad stuff due to the haze this drug puts you in. Once I turned 18 I droped it cold turkey. I was sick and fed up. I dont advise droping it at once. There are side effects- you can slump into a deeper depression. I did. the ended up putting me on Paxil and that stuff made me really sick and i had a bad reaction. Ive been med free for years now. I get depressive episods from time to time but imo its better to feel something then to feel nothing. If you decide to stop your zolof make sure you talk to your Dr. They will probably ween you off slowly which is safer.
