Re: new laptop

windows is such a clunky and quirky user interface and UGLY. every operation i do on my mac, takes longer to do in windows. plus i don't need to install software to run any printer, camera, scanner or other hardware on my mac. everything is plug and play with NO trouble shooting. not to mention---no viruses or other internet stuff that can cause down time. time saved is $$ in the bank.

plus all design support services ---especially printers and most vendors are all on macs as well. any software i need to conduct my business is available for macs. i don't use my computer to play games, so that is a non-issue.

i actually use a desktop computer ---MUCH faster processing speed than any lap top (which i need for x-large file sizes), plus i neeed an oversize monitor for print work, especially when working on magazines and product packaging. it's not about being accepted by my peers, it's about industry standards, a higher quality product and user experience.

i've been using macs since my IIci ! LOVE LOVE LOVE them.
