i totally understand - you gotta do what you gota do. best advice i have then is to up that ram as soon as ya can... that should help a bit. also - try clearing your cache... sometimes it does wonders.
of course there's always the defrag route too... if you haven't defragged your HD in a long time you may need to do so. really not too up on Vista (got rid of it straight away) but a good defrag also does wonders - assuming it will under Vista as well.

never thought i'd see the day when i loved XP.... so i heard there's a public Beta of Windows 7 gonna be available for download on Friday.... MicroShaft says it is gonna be way less demanding than Vista.
