| Re: I hate insomnia Boy can I relate to everyone on this thread. I've found over the counter meds to be totally useless. MMJ is helpful, so long as I only smoke it around bedtime. I have to keep my tolerance low, or it doesn't work as a sleep aid. Many people say that edibles are helpful to sleep and stay asleep. I find the edibles to be hit and miss. Some are incredibly strong to where I'm tripping, and others don't do much at all. Bubble hash works well for me at night because I seem to be able to control my dose better with it, and it is very strong. I do take a sleep aid almost every night called Trazodone. It isn't a pleasant buzz I get off it, but it helps me sleep. I also have Xanax for really hard nights, but as you probably know it's about as addictive as heroin. Exercise/ hard work also makes me sleep much better at night, but lately I've been lazy and just using pills and MMJ. Stress also makes me stay up all night long, so I live a fairly low-stress lifestyle and it really helps. I have to know when to step back and relax, plus I don't get myself in f'ed up situtations, if I can help it. Good luck. |
