Ok...I'm (relatively) new to California and California politics...

So someone please explain to me,

Why do people call Jerry Brown moonbeam?

Where did this nickname come from and why?

As for newsom...I couldn't imagine him carrying the whole state...but again...I'm no expert here...just trying to get to know the lay of the land.

---But I did hear the Meg Whitman was too busy to register to vote until 2006---HA!!!!
