LOL,
V's position give him a lot of power. Power to sleep with any TV reporter he likes... Power to project his voice into state and national elections...Power to jetset across the globe to boost his resume and ego.
Remember all that talk of him running for governor?
He's not my mayor (I live in Riverside...no compassion here

), and it's frustrating to see V's inaction. Even if he can't do anything to stop the DA and CA, he can at least take a stand, or voice an opinion of some kind...obviously he's just looking out for his own carreer (whatever that is). He doesn't want to be seen as someone who 1) sleeps around and 2) smokes pot...
Does anyone even know where V stands on the issue?...For that matter...does anyone know where Gavin Newsom is on mmj? Could we have a pro-mmj governor?
My guess is V is silent for the same reason that must politicians remain silent on controversial, pending issues...he'd rather watch other people throw mud at eachother than join in, take a stance, and risk getting hit...
because mmj is ultimatly a civil rights issue,
silence and inaction are tacit support of persecution.
