Hey, I ballooned 60 lbs when I first started my psych meds 10 years ago. Got metabolic syndrome as well - when you have lots of factors that contribute to heart attack/ stroke. I found that the urge to eat under those drugs is really mostly an illusion. If you monitor your eating, or if you just simply eat smaller amounts, your stomach won't get stretched out and you'll stay thin because you won't be nearly as hungry. Took me a long time to drop the weight. Just watch your intake, is what I'm saying, and make sure that when you aren't stuck in a depression or physically sick, you do exercise. MJ helped me lose weight because it got me off of some of my pills (benzos), now I'm down to 3 meds as well (MJ being one of them). I feel a ton better, and I'm about 45 lbs lighter than I was when I was a tranqed out zombie. Good luck!
